5460 Years ago an Oak tree fell into a peat bog. It was preserved by the natural acids in the peat and excavated for use on this beautiful Bowie. The 11.25″ blade os W2 steel and the Hamon was created naturally with no clay. Only heat and controlled quench. The sweeping S guard is wrought iron. It was blackened using the traditional hot oil method. It accentuates the black in the Oak. The Bog Oak show a rainbow of colors and figure. Overall length is 17.5″
