This knife was requested by a good friend of mine, a former Army Ranger. He designed the blade, a simple clip point design similar to a Remington R-1. The blade is W2 that was clay hardened to produce a Hamon then Parkerized to aid in corrosion resistance. Guard is Wrought Iron that has been hot oil blackened. Handle is Black Dyed and Stabilized Maple. The complete package just begs to be used.
The customer who purchased this knife had a great sheath made for it. It was done by Rowe’s Leather. black leather, drop loop frog, lined with calfskin with black gator inset. What a perfect finish for a great knife.
